1. Practice your letters. This could be writing in flour, sand, with paints, chalk or pens! Whichever you would like to use. Today you can recap the two letters from this week 'q' and 'o'
2. Reading. You could read your school book, a story from EPIC or Oxford Owl. I have also uploaded a few sentences which you could read if you would prefer.
LI: To read sentences
Here is our lesson with Mr MC: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dCkrhk-lj7o&list=PLWee7c-xY-eSXoBG3VM0WRYzPbEvaDDpl&index=37
We are getting really good at reading now! Can you have a go at this game to finish? https://www.ictgames.com/mobilePage/poopDeck/index.html
LI: to listen and respond to stories
Today I am going to use EPIC books to read you a story and answer the questions (Hiding Dinosaurs). I would then like you read/listen to and complete the quiz for this story: We're going on a dinosaur dig.
LI: To find ways to make 10
Warm up your brains with this number bonds episode from Numberblocks: https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b08q3zx7/numberblocks-series-2-blast-off
Here is the link to your lesson with Miss Cooper: https://vimeo.com/508860869 Today you are continuing to look at 2 numbers that add together to make 10.
I have attached the activity below with an optional extension.
Below is the audio of the Jigsaw Families Calm me time, which can be used at home. It would be great for your child, together with others in the family if possible, to have a go with this calming 6 min session before watching the assembly/story led by Mrs Vousden.
There is also a video of Mrs Vousden reading a story.
Golden Time! Have fun :)
