WORLD BOOK DAY
Today is World Book Day. Whilst we will be celebrating this in school at a later date, I have uploaded an activity in the 'English' folder. If you get a chance today, I'd like you to write a book review of your favourite book. You can use the template in the 'English' folder or you can create your own review. If you complete one, please bring it in to school with you so that I can put it up in our book corner... Thanks! I have also attached a link to an 'AMAAAAAZING ASSEMBLY FOR WORLD BOOK DAY' with David Walliams if you'd like to watch it.
Read Chapter 6 'Tip' from 'Street Child' and then answer the questions. Everyone must answer the questions highlighted in yellow and to challenge yourself answer all of the questions.
LI: To add three or more fractions.
LI: To continue my non-chronological report writing.
If you think you have finished, make sure you have included pictures to go with your writing and double checked for spellings and punctuation. I would like you to bring these to school on Monday for sharing so make sure you are happy enough with your work to share. I have given you two English lessons for this as I think that's how long it should take to produce this non-chronological report.
How many times can you write each word (correctly) in one minute?
1.00 FIVE MINUTE MATHS/MATHS CHALLENGE QUESTIONS
LI: To identify the features of a mountain.
Use the PowerPoint in the 'Geography' to help with the lesson today. If you put the PowerPoint as a slideshow there will be some links to videos you can watch to help too (I think we would've watched one by now). Then, complete the activity. If you don't print your work out, you will need to do this on paper as you can't use Class Dojo to draw a mountain, colour and label the parts effectively.
2.20 QUIET READING
This can be to either an adult or yourself.
