Topic Term 6

This Term we are going to learn all about our Local Area. I thought this would be the perfect time to explore the area we live in.

I have attached some activities or reading to do below, you can choose 1 or 2 of these to do a week. They range from a History trail around Devizes to learning more about our canal. Lots of these can be done as part of your daily walk/ exercise time and are perfect to do as a family.

 Or you could choose to undertake your own research. Maybe you want to find out more about Devizes Castle or places nearby like Stonehenge, the city of Bath or Salisbury.

Other suggested activities that your child could complete based around our topic:

• Drawing a map of their local area.
• Create  poster/ factfile about Devizes
• Make a film about Devizes
• Make a video of you taking a tour around Devizes.
