‘Through kindness, teamwork and determination we thrive.’

Wednesday

Daily Jobs:

1. Practice your letters. This could be writing in flour, sand, with paints, chalk or pens! Whichever you would like to use. Today our letter is 'o'  here is a video to help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dUg1p-pk_CE

2. Reading. You could read your school book, a story from EPIC or Oxford Owl. I have also uploaded a few sentences which you could read if you would prefer.

Maths

LI: to compare numbers within 10

Warm your brains up with this song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WHuuuh9GgP8

Here is the link to your lesson with Miss Cooper: https://vimeo.com/508859898 Today you are going to be thinking about numbers that are more than and fewer than a number. You could make number cards if you do not have a dice and draw dominos :)

The activity is attached below.

Understanding the World - Topic

Watch this video on mute until 2min5  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fVPclPzRJk4

What do you notice about the dinosaur habitats? Can you say what you can see?

Is there grass? Flowers? Think back to the habitats we looked at earlier this week.

Watch this video where children make their own dinosaur habitat https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jyhd6nX-5vo

Now it's your turn! Can you use a box (or something similar) to create somewhere for a dinosaur to live. You could add stones, soil, leaves and a somewhere for them to have a drink! I had added some pictures below for inspiration.
