Spellings and handwriting

We will practise some key spelling words and practise our handwriting each Friday morning from now on. All activities will have an option for Year 3 and 4  words which most of us are on (choose GP 2) and for those who find these too tricky at the moment, you can choose the Year 2 key words option (GP 1).

Please complete both a spellings word search and handwriting practise sheet this morning.

LI: Plan information writing

We’re now going to think about writing some new information about trolls. You have done lots of word and sentence work over the last couple of weeks based on ‘The Truth About Trolls’, that will help you.

Use the planner on the worksheet to help you make notes for what you could include in your new information about trolls, including what trolls look like, where they live and what they eat. You only need to use key words in your planner, not sentences.

Next week, in our English lessons, we will write, edit and publish our new information text about trolls.
