Reading

 LI: Retrieve information from the story

Please log in to Purple Mash. You will find a ‘2Do’ to read Chapter 5 of our Class Story, ‘The Settlers'. After you have read the chapter you have two tasks.

1. Answer the multiple choice questions. You can find all the answers in the first chapter you have read. These questions can be done online, they are set as a ‘2Do’. Or you can print the questions and answer on paper. The document is below.

LI: Write descriptive sentences

Today we will use the nouns and adjectives from our work on Friday to write descriptive sentences about trolls. We will write ‘sentences of 3’, using 3 adjectives in a list, including the correct use of the comma.

LI: Use coding commands to make a scene

You are going to take your coding skills to the next level with these two tasks.

1. Turtle. First, you will make the turtle controllable with the keyboard or swipes and then you will make your own program using the turtle.
2. In this activity, you will be moving spooky sprites to make a haunted scene. You will even learn how to turn a bat into a vampire!
