Reading Comprehension

Last week you read a text about the Stone Age. This week's non-fiction text is about the Bronze Age. Read this text and then very carefully look for the answers to the questions.

There are 3 levels of difficulty so choose the one that is right for you. The answers are included too, so that your parents can help you check your answers.

LI: Create a fact sheet about a mythical creature

Following on from our work last week based around 'Dreaming the Unicorn' by Tony Mitton, we are going to think about other mythical creatures. What other mythical creatures do you know? Can you do a little research and make a list of mythical creatures. I would then like you to choose your favourite one to research and make a fact sheet all about it. I'd love us to share our fact sheets about different mythical creatures with each other when we have our Friday TEAMS session.

If you need some help with your research there is a document below which tells you all about some famous mythical creatures.

If you would like to see an example of a fact file there is one below.

Maths

LI: Consolidate 2 4 and 8 times tables

Please watch the learning video on this link https://vimeo.com/485432791

Then complete the worksheets. Try to do these on ClassDojo if you can so you can complete them on screen and save to your portfolio. You can also find them here, though. Remember, if it is very tricky you can do just the first worksheet but challenge yourself as much as you can!

Computing

On Purple Mash, you will find tasks in 2Do to continue with coding practise. You are all doing really well with your coding but remember, if you are struggling, just click on hint and you will have a video tutorial to help you. Have fun!

Times Tables practise

Just select the sheet below for the times tables you are working on and have a practise. If you and your parents/ teacher think you're ready to move on as we go forward then please do - you'll be able to amaze me with your progress after lockdown!
