LI: Retrieve information from the story

Please log in to Purple Mash. You will find a ‘2Do’ to read Chapter 4 of our Class Story, ‘The Settlers'. After you have read the chapter you have two tasks.

1. Answer the multiple choice questions. You can find all the answers in the first chapter you have read. These questions can be done online, they are set as a ‘2Do’. Or you can print the questions and answer on paper. The document is below.

In my morning video today, I talked to you about using inverted commas for direct speech and we looked at some examples. Now I would like you to take part in an online lesson all about using speech punctuation delivered by the National Oak Academy. Maths

 LI: Divide with remainders

Today’s maths lesson is a practical lesson. You won’t be completing any worksheets but instead will watch a video and explore what happens when we divide in to groups and have some left over – we call these remainders.

You will need 30 counters or any small objects – this could be marbles, cars, pieces of dry pasta, anything at all!
