LI: Make inferences with evidence
Read Chapter 4, ‘The Cave’.
Then complete the worksheet below. There is also an excerpt from the chapter with the text that you will need. You need to answer questions and then choose a bit from the chapter that shows how you know, your ‘evidence’.

LI: Use prepositional phrases
On Tuesday you used prepositions. Today, you will finish sentences beginning with prepositional phrases then write independently about Sophie arriving at the BFG's cave, starting each sentence with a prepositional phrase. This activity will be really useful for writing descriptive settings.
