LI: Retrieve information from the story.


Please log in to Purple Mash to continue our work on Chapter 1 of ‘Mary Anning and the Time Twister’. You have three 2Dos:


  1. Re-read Chapter 1 of our Class Story, ‘Mary Anning and the Time Twister’.


     2. Answer some SPAG (spelling, punctuation and grammar) questions relating to the chapter.


     3. Answer some 'open-ended' questions about the chapter. Please write full sentences to answer these questions with reasons to support your       answers. You can refer to things that have happened in the story in your answers.

LI: Write a time travel story


Today we will write the 'Problem' and 'Resolution' parts of our story. So far, we have been transported back to the Stone Age and have explained all about who we met, what we saw and the things we learned. Next, we need to consider the following questions and continue writing our story. 



What event is going to happen which will allow you to transport forwards in time and get back home?
What action will trigger your transportation?
How will you reflect on what has happened?
Will you miss anything from the Stone age?
Is there a twist to the story?
This could be a Stone-Age item being taken back to the present by accident!
